We are here for photographers to gain attention in this community by exhibiting their work to a larger audience of fellow photographers and art appreciators.


:postit: How do we do that?
By sharing your work through thumbs in #PhotoExhibit to get immediate feedback. And we will eventually feature photographers part of the group here by posting their works for all the rest to see.


:postit: Currently, there are only 5 rules for the #PhotoExhibit:

1. Only photographs are allowed in the room
2. Be respectful to everyone
3. Thumbs are to be posted every 4 minutes
4. Memberships are given when you watch ~photoexhibit
(guests are allowed to post 5 thumbs while members are allowed to post 8)
5. No spamming or bots allowed in the chat


:postit: What if there's not much people in the chat?
I can't emphasize this enough, STAY. If everyone keeps on leaving, of course there'll be no one there! Please, stay... We promise it'll be a fun and fulfilling experience.

Hi there!

I am totally new to dA and am looking to improve my photography though the advice, help and critique of other photographers! I stumbled across your news article (while finding out what the news section was all about ;)) and figured it sounded a lot like what I wanted to get out of a site and community like this.

I'm still picking up how to do stuff, but have no idea about this "thumbs" posting thing that is mentioned for the chat room. Please help!?! :D
